ONLINE CAR SERVICES
ABSTRACT

Online Car Services is a Java based web application which can be used for Car Service Shop Dealers and Car Owners. This project has two set of users, they are Dealers and Car Owners. They are provided with a username and password after their successful registrations.

Car Dealers must provide the information such as Company Name, Industry Type, Address, etc. After login they can post the services offered by them. Posting New Service requires the following parameters, such as: Service Location, Experience, Service, Service Time, Service Cost and Service Description. A sample new service is provided below.

            Service Location: Chennai
            Experience: 4 Years
            Service: Fuel Pump Replacement
            Service Time: 8 Hours
            Service Cost: Rs. 4500/-
            Service Description: Quick and Reliable Service

He can see the services posted by him and their summary.

Car Owners can register and search for services offered by each dealer. They can see the service summary and can Apply for Service. Advanced Search option is provided for car owners so that they can search by Service Location, Service Provided, Dealer Name etc. After they apply for the service, the corresponding Car Dealer would get notification on login. They can accept or reject a service. After the service is done, the dealer can send Mail from this application to the car owner. The mail will be sent to his personal mail Id.
